Capgemini Consulting’s newest report establishes that 93% consumers express serious doubts over retailers’ ability to protect consumer data
The most recent report released by Capgemini Consulting entitled “Privacy Please: Why Retailers Need to Rethink Personalization,” states that 93 percent of more than 220,000 consumers surveyed express concerns over retailers’ abilities to protect consumer data in the event of a cyberattack. The report highlights how as consumers hand over more and more personal data to firms, protecting that data is central to establishing consumer trust.
