Sudan shuts down the internet for national examinations
Web security company cloudflare reported a decline in the internet activity in Sudan in the week from 21 June. With the help of Sudanese people on Twitter, they established that the internet disruptions coincided with national examinations. The times when internet activity was at its lowest corresponds with official examination times announced by the Sudan Ministry of Education.
The outages are expected to persist in the coming week as the examinations continue.
