99% of individuals in Bahrain use the Internet

According to a news report, a survey conducted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain has shown that Internet users have reached 99% and it is mainly attributed to the affordability of Internet services in Bahrain. The report also highlighted the fact that Bahrain leads the global ranking of the percentage of Internet users, as contained in data publishedby the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). Further, among other things, the survey results showed that 85% of respondents expressed their satisfaction with telecommunications services generally, but still went on to propose a further reduction in prices and an improvement in the quality of service.
