Australian government encouraged to tackle digital divide
Australia’s Charities Crisis Cabinet (CCC) has issued a letter to the prime minister and Digital Economy Minister Senator in order to tackle the growing digital divide in Australia. In the call, they requested for the creation of a National Digital Inclusion Roadmap in order to take action on improving digital inclusion in Australia and supporting digital transformation. The letter also reflects on the implications posed by Covid-19 and difficulty to participate in socio-economic activities due to the lack of digital technology.
