The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) in Bahrain has completed the transfer of about 85% of government data to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) in Bahrain has completed the transfer of about 85% of government data to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform and upgraded its backup and load distribution systems to improve the availability, performance, and stability of applications. The iGA also enhanced the connectivity of the Government Data Network (GDN), linked over 300 websites to the government network, updated the domain (.gov.bh) system framework, and linked government data centers with Cisco technology to improve the speed of hosting systems. These achievements are aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens and residents in line with the government’s aspirations to achieve national goals and strategies.
