Baidu browser data leaked
A CitizenLab technical report revealed how millions of Chinese people are believed to have been affected by data leaks using the free web browswer Baidu. In its replies to questions on security vulnerabilities posed by CitizenLab, Baidu stated that the company has now switched to encrypted formats for transmission of user data.
