Canada launches National Expert Committee on Countering Radicalization to Violence
The government of Canada announced the launch of the National Expert Committee on Countering Radicalization to Violence. The committee will contribute to the already existing measures that safeguard national security and counter terrorism. The contributions will include helping to ensure three main priorities of the National Strategy on Countering Radicalization to Violence are met: building, sharing, and using knowledge; addressing radicalisation to violence in the online space; and supporting interventions with cases of radicalisation to violence.
