CISA releases updated Cybersecurity Performance Goals (CPGs)
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recently released updated its cybersecurity performance goals (CPGs), voluntary guidelines for infrastructure owners and enterprises to strengthen their cybersecurity.
To assist companies and infrastructure owners in defending themselves against cyber threats, the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recently released updated cybersecurity performance goals (CPGs). After their first release in October of last year, these voluntary guidelines have been updated and restructured to conform to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). The new CPGs offer a variety of doable actions that infrastructure owners and enterprises may take to strengthen their cybersecurity, such as risk management, access control, incident response planning, and system resilience. Organizations can better protect their systems and data from a variety of cyber attacks by implementing these strategies.
