Commsworld completes UK network as largest Independent Network Providers 

Commsworld has implemented an ultra-fast Optical Core Network becoming  the largest independently owned DWDM network provider in the UK and entering the national high-capacity backhaul market. Commsworld leased Dark Fibre from CityFibre (covering London, Bristol up to Manchester and Leeds) and Zayo (covering Manchester and Leeds up to Edinburgh and Glasgow). Commsworld has claimed the dark fibre provides a scalability and low latency advantage across the country. Additionally, Commsworld is now capable of extending wavelength services which facilitates ultra-high capacity of up to 200 Gb/s within 80km of Commsworld’s over 90 Points of Presence giving access to a high speed network in both urban and rural areas.
