Croatian presidency of the EU releases latest ePrivacy draft text
According to IAPP, the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union has released its latest ePrivacy Regulation proposal draft. This draft includes modifications on articles that cover the protection of end users’ terminal equipment information and permitted processing of electronic communications data, as well as alterations to Recital 12 regarding machine-to-machine and internet-of-things services. This draft will be further discussed during upcoming Working Party on Telecommunications and Information Society meetings on March 12 and 19.
