Cybersecurity 2015-09-22 Apple virus

The first large-scale malware attack on iOS – an operating system driving Apple computers, tables and smartphones – was identified. Malware called XcodeGhost is believed to have been embedded in hundreds of legitimate applications for these devices available by AppStore. Apple considers this an important alert since it shows that developers of applications themselves are now becoming a target.
