Dutch antitrust regulator fines Apple for failure to comply with its ruling
Apple was fined 5 million euros by the Dutch Authority for Consumer and Markets (ACM) for failing to comply with an order that required its app store to allow dating app providers to use alternative payment methods. The ACM said that ‘Apple has failed to satisfy the requirements on several points’. Most importantly, dating app providers are still not able to use other payment systems. The company can be subjected to weekly fines until it complies with the decision.
