Encrypted social media protecting slavery transactions
According to a UN Report, slavery and human trafficking, especially of women, is taking advantage of encrypted social media to disseminate details of auctions and captured women. James Cockayne of United Nations University explains more about what is happening and makes some recommendations about what the UN can do about it.
