The EU finished the public consultation process for digital euro
On April 13, the EU central Bank (ECB) issued the digital euro public consultation report. In more than 8000 comments and suggestions users highlighted privacy, security, and the cross border interoperability as the main issues to be considered. The ECB continues its work toward the creation of the digital euro through a process of public consultation and joint work of central banks around the EU. The new digital euro would be an electronic form of money issued by the Eurosystem (the ECB and national central banks) and accessible to all.
