Four states join anti-trust lawsuit against Google in the USA
Alaska, Florida, Montana, Nevada just joined a lawsuit filed by Texas against Google in December 2020, according to Reuters. This brings the number of plaintiffs to 15 states and territories. Google is accused of breaching antitrust laws to boost its advertising business. Plaintiffs allege that Google colludes with Facebook in the placements of ads. As a result, publishers have allegedly had lower revenues.
