Hackers steal over £20 million ($31 million) from British online bank accounts
The UK’s National Crime Agency has issued an alert against a ‘serious cyber attack’ targeting UK bank accounts. Hackers have stolen over £20 million ($31 million) from bank accounts. NCA has partnered with the FBI and European crime agency Europol to investigate the breach, which they say was perpetrated using Dridex, a type of malware which was first detected in November 2014.
