Hacktivists from Indonesia continue cyberattacks on Israeli government websites
The hacker group has previously claimed responsibility for a series of cyberattacks on Israeli government institutions.
A hacker group calling itself VulzSec Team told media that they will continue their breach attempts on Israeli government institutions.
ArabNews report that the hackers stated that ‘In the future we will be more focused on other institutions and try to breach other systems in Israel.’ They also underlined that they censor the data they share and would not upload sensitive information as there were no bad intentions behind the hacks.
The group, composed of hackers from Indonesia, carried out the attacks alongside similar breaches by other hacker groups targeting Israeli agencies. The attacks coincided with heightened tensions in the region, including clashes between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli security forces at Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan. VulzSec Team reported successfully infiltrating multiple Israeli government systems, including the police, health ministry, transport institutions, and the central bank, and claimed to have obtained sensitive information from them.
