Huawei: Sales up to 23% despites US control
Despite being blacklisted by Washington, Huawei’s sales rose by double digits in the first half of this year. Huawei Technologies Chairman Liang Hua said that US pressure has ‘galvanised our people,’ and expressed confidence that the Chinese tech giant will ‘enter a new period of growth.’
Hua also said at a conference in Shenzhen that sales have suffered ‘some impact’ after the Trump administration blocked access to US components and technology, but Huawei has successfully avoided disruption in shipments to customers.
