India: CBI joins Interpol’s ICSE database
The Central Bureau of Investigation in India has joined Interpol’s ICSE database, enabling access to analyze and connect child sexual abuse materials globally.
India’s nodal investigative agency, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has become the 68th country member of Interpol’s international child sexual exploitation (ICSE) database.
The ICSE database uses This membership will allow CBI to access the database of Interpol and use its video & image comparison provisions to analyse child sexual abuse material and make connections between victims, abusers and locations.
