Indian nuclear powerplant was under a cyber-attack
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) in Tamil Nadu, the biggest nuclear power plant in India, suffered a cyber-attack in September, the Indian authorities confirmed. The reports state that the nuclear power plant’s administrative network was breached in the attack but did not cause any critical damage. Some researchers have linked the malware used for the attack to the Lazarus group, allegedly connected to the North Korean government, though no evidence for the claim were disclosed.
