Kenya launches two documents for protecting children from online abuse
Kenya has introduced two Strategy documents, the National Care Reform Strategy and the National Plan of Action, to combat Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and ensure children’s rights and protection in the country.
The government of Kenya has launched two Strategy documents, the National Care Reform Strategy and the National Plan of Action, to address issues of Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA).
Speaking at the launch of the documents, Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes, Prof. Margaret Kobia, shared that the aim of the two documents is to create an environment that promotes protection, and fulfilment of the rights of children in the country.
