Kyrgyzstan launches new digital solution for healthcare services
The pilot version of a new service called the Digital Profile of Human Health service aims to enhance healthcare services by providing quick and easy access to patient health information.
The Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Health has launched a pilot version of a new service called the Digital Profile of Human Health, which can be accessed through the Tunduk electronic services portal.
The additional feature consists of an information system that collects and displays data about a person’s health collected by public healthcare organisations. It aims to enhance healthcare service delivery by facilitating access to patient’s health information, thus reducing the time it takes to search for and collect such information.
The information that will be digitally available includes data about a patient’s primary healthcare organisation, insurance status, hospitalisations, laboratory results, and vaccination history. In the future, the system will be expanded to include more health services, such as making doctor appointments, e-prescriptions, access to medical records, and various certificates.
