Moldova launches National Program for Child Protection 2022-2026
Moldova has launched the National Program for Child Protection 2022-2026 to enhance social protection for children, focusing on combating sexual abuse, exploitation, and online violence. The program includes 72 actions with monitoring indicators, implementation costs, lead time, and responsible institutions to ensure effective execution.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova officially launched the National Program for Child Protection 2022-2026 . The program plans to strengthen the social protection of children in the country especially against child sexual abuse and sexual exploitation and online violence. The program aims for better implementation of the Lanzarote Convention through an established national intersectoral cooperation mechanism. This National Program is accompanied by an Action Plan having 72 actions, each having monitoring indicators; implementation costs, lead time and responsible institutions.
