Moroccan journalist targeted with network injection attacks
According to a new report published by Amnesty International’s Security Lab, spyware produced by the Israeli company NSO Group was used against Omar Radi, a prominent activist and journalist from Morocco, from January 2019 to January 2020. According to the report, there is evidence of ‘network injection’ attacks used on Radi, that were previously found to have been deployed against Moroccan human rights defender Maati Monjib. While NSO Group recently released its human rights policy, Amnesty International has condemned them for failing to conduct adequate human rights due diligence and for the inefficacy of their own human rights policy.
