NATO taking Huawei security concerns seriously: NATO chief
NATO has serious security concerns about Huawei’s role in the rollout of 5G infrastructure in Western nations and the alliance has begun an internal review as some NATO allies have specific concerns about Huawei’s role in the provision of the infrastructure. The US has increased pressure on Europe over use of Huawei, due to its close relationship with the Chinese government and threatened to reduce intelligence cooperation if the firm’s technology was utilised.
