New counter-terrorism initiative for tech startups launched
A new initiative, www.techagainstterrorism.org, was launched to help tech startups counter the use of technology to support terrorism. The initiative is a joint project of the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) and the ICT4Peace Foundation. The initiative will provide startups with with tools and tactics, the ability to learn from each other, and global networking and other opportunities to engage with governments more effectively. The initiative was launched during the RightsCon conference in Brussels.
