New ICANN bylaws adopted
The ICANN Board adopted a new set of ICANN bylaws, which reflect changes necessary as a result of the recommendations contained in the IANA stewardship transition proposal and the accountability proposal. The new bylaws are to be sent to the US government, which has previously requested for them in order to be able to complete the review of the two proposals. ICANN has also announced that the Regional Internet Registries Service Level Agreement and Internet Engineering Task Force Memorandum of Understanding Supplemental Agreement have also been approved for signing and would go into effect after the transition.
