Nokia to Launch Dynamic Spectrum Sharing Solution in 2020
Nokia plans to launch a solution, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) that would allow mobile network operators to dynamically share spectrum using different technologies. One of the benefits of this is the faster rollout of new 5G services. Nokia has indicated that the DSS solution can be used with all Radio Access Tyes to manage the transition between new services and movement away from legacy technologies. Radio Access Types to manage the transition period around the uptake of new services as well as the decline of a legacy technology.
