Nominet sets up £200 000 fund for child safety online
Technology firm Nominet has launched a £200 000 Countering Online Harm Fund to protect children online. The fund will be invested in technology innovation to help Charity Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the National Crime Agency’s Child Exploitation Online Protection (NCA-CEOP) group. Nominet CEO Russell Haworth mentioned ‘This funding will mean they can fast-track research and ideas that could prove vital in identifying and tackling emerging threats before they become widespread.’.
