OECD adopts recommendations of the Council of Children in the digital environment

OECD has adopted the recommendation of the Council of Children in the Digital Environment  that supports governments  to provide the environment for protecting children in today’s time and in the backdrop of the COVID-19 crisis. The recommendations provide help to countries to balance protecting children online with promoting opportunities and benefits that the digital environment provides. Further the recommendations lay out  principles for promoting a safe and beneficial digital environment for children, provide recommendations for creating policy frameworks, and reiterate the need for  international co-operation.
