OpenAI has released GPT-4
OpenAI has released general purpose machine learning (GPM) technology called GPT-4. GPT-4 has the potential to significantly disrupt traditional industries, such as legal and medical services, by providing automated assistance.
OpenAI has released GPT-4, the latest version of the artificial general intelligence (AGI) system. GPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer and GPT-4 is part of a series of foundational language models extending back to the original GPT in 2018.
GPT-4 is a ‘multimodal’ model that can take images as well as text as inputs. It is more creative, less likely to make up facts, and less biased than its predecessors.
GPT-4 has the potential to significantly disrupt traditional industries, such as legal and medical services, by providing automated assistance.
Though GPT-4 has advanced capabilities, it still has some humanlike shortcomings that have vexed experts and unnerved people who have interacted with the newest chatbots. OpenAI is selling access to GPT-4 so that businesses and other software developers can build their applications on top of it.
OpenAI made it take tests like the Uniform Bar Exam, LSAT, GRE, and various AP subject tests, and it scored at a human level
OpenAI also works on systems that handle multiple media types, including sound, video, text and images.
