Polish Personal Data Protection Office imposed first fine for obstructing the exercise of the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
It its decision, Polish personal Data Protection Office punished ClickQuickNow Sp. z o.o for not implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures that would enable easy and effective withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data and of obtaining the erasure of personal data (the “right to be forgotten”). It is a first fine related to GDPR for applying overly complicated technical solutions to consent withdrawal process.
