Requests for new IDNs for India successfully passed the evaluation process

ICANN has announced that four additional Internationalised Domain Names (IDN) country code top level domain names (ccTLD) strings for India have successfully passed the string evaluation process. This means that the requested strings are now pending delegation into the root zone. According to ICANN, requests from 39 countries/territories have successfully passed the evaluation stage as of now, and, for 33 of them, the IDN ccTLDs are already delegated into the root zone. This means a total of 43 IDN ccTLD already available in the Domain Name System.
