Russia announces strike on Ukraine’s cyber hubs in Kyiv
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation stated that it would fire precision weapons on several Ukrainian military installations in Kyiv where it says cyberattacks on Russia originate.
The ministry stated: ’For the purpose of foiling information attacks against Russia, strikes with high-precision weapons will be carried out against the Security Service of Ukraine’s technological facilities and the 72nd main centre of psychological and information operations in Kyiv.’
The ministry also warned and urged ‘Ukrainian citizens involved by Ukrainian nationalists in provocations against Russia, as well as [Kyiv] residents living near relay stations, to leave their homes’.
