Russia sends a demarche to the US over Apple, Google election interference
Russia sent a demarche to the US State Department and the National Security Council to underline the inadmissibility of US interference in Russian 2021 parliamentary elections. Russia has alleged interference of US-based tech companies, namely Apple and Google, in its elections.
According to Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, Washington was provided with facts such as ‘data, dates, IP addresses and much more’, not just declarative statements.
