Spanish data protection authority fines Spanish public media organisation for GDPR breach
The Spanish Corporación de Radio y Televisión was fined 60,000 euros for alleged violations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation by the Spanish data protection watchdog. According to IAPP, the Spanish regulator stated the media organisation did not comply with Article 32 of the GDPR after it lost devices that contained sensitive personal information (such as name, ID number, personal address, work health record and salary).
