The Swiss National Cybersecurity Centre (NCSC) has published its semi-annual report focusing on armed conflict in cyberspace. The report highlights a 70% increase of threatening emails, a decrease in ransomware, but an increase in falsified (spoofed) telephone numbers, and more than 10,000 reports of fraud. The report finally stresses the need to advance responsible behaviour and protect critical infrastructure from attacks from state and non-state actors.
