The US issued a warning to Russia regarding potential attacks on commercial satellites, stating that any such action would be met with a suitable response to protect infrastructure.
A Russian diplomat warned that commercial satellites used by the US and its allies to help Ukraine in the war could become legitimate targets for attacks. In response to Russian threats, a US official stated that any attack on US infrastructure would be met ‘with a response appropriate to the threat that’s posed to our infrastructure’.
