TikTok makes changes to its child data protection policy
To protect children online, TikTok has announced strict new rules for users under 16. The company announced that no stranger would now be able to comment or download any post or video of minors (below 16 year), or use their videos for ‘duets’. The account of minors will be private by default now so only their friends can view their videos.
For children between 16-17 years, their videos cannot be downloaded and only their friends will be able to record duets.
