Uber is back to Colombia
The ride-hailing company announced that it is resuming operations with a different business model that allows passengers to hire cars with drivers less than a month after being banned in Colombia. Uber said that in this new business model, the app is “only the point of contact which connects two parties to form a contract”. Uber stopped its transportation of passenger activities on 31 January due to a court decision that ruled it had breached national competition laws.
