Ukraine joins NATO’s Locked Shields cyber defense exercise
For the first time in history, Ukraine will participate in NATO’s Locked Shields 2024 cyber defense exercise, one of the largest cybersecurity exercises.
Ukraine’s commitment to bolstering cyber defence was recently underscored by the announcement from the National Security and Defense Council as reported by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
The nation will actively participate in Locked Shields 2024, the cyber defence exercise organized by NATO’s Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (NATO CCDCOE).
Locked Shields 2024 stands out as the world’s foremost realistic cyber defence exercise, uniting over 4,000 experts from more than 40 countries in a simulated battleground. The exercise’s purpose is to safeguard the infrastructure of a fictional nation against a myriad of cyber threats, replicating the complexity of real-world challenges.
