The UK’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), the country’s leading agency in cybersecurity and cyber response efforts, has published its 2022 Annual Review. The report highlights publicly disclosable data on the identification, monitoring, and analysis of cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities for ensuring the cyber resilience of organisations, critical infrastructure, and society.
Over the 12 months prior to March 2022, 2.7m cyber-related frauds have been identified. While commodity attacks, as well as attacks on the supply chain, are on the rise, ransomware remains a major threat.
