UN and SHE Investments launch mobile bookkeeping app for women entrepreneurs
The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), and SHE Investments kicked off the bookkeeping app KOTRA- Riel that helps Cambodian women micro-entrepreneurs plan and manage cash flows, as well as access formal financial services. The application is designed to address the main challenges for women entrepreneurs including limited collateral, lack of financial history, and low digital literacy. To this aim, KOTRA- Riel provides a simple, user-friendly experience that allows those who are not technically savvy to track business earning and expenses at the click of a button.
