UN Special Rapporteur announces call for contributions on privacy and children
The Special Rapporteur on the right to privacy, Joseph A. Cannataci, is examining the privacy rights of children and how these rights interact with the interests of other actors as the child develops. This is based on the thematic action stream of his mandate ‘A Better Understanding of Privacy’.
The Special Rapporteur is inviting contributions from stakeholders on issues related to privacy of children and their rights both online and offline in the spheres of health, education, social, entertainment, justice, age related consent, and existing regulatory structures to protect their rights. Contributions are invited until 30 September 2020.
