US FDA releases discussion paper on communicating cybersecurity vulnerabilities to patients
The US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) has published a discussion paper, Communicating Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities to Patients: Considerations for a Framework. The FDA aims to provide best practices to consider when health stakeholders communicate with patients and caregivers about cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The discussion paper was issued to seek early input from groups and individuals outside the FDA.
