Argentina Ministry of information and communication technologies plans a second IoT survey for 2022
Argentina National Director of Planning, Convergence, and Universalization of the Undersecretary of Information and Communication Technologies announced that during 2022, a second national IoT survey would be released. The survey will aim to learn about IoT progress in the Argentina ecosystem and promote IoT use in the country. The announcement took place during a virtual workshop between the Undersecretary for Information and Communication Technologies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and the Directorate-General for Information Society and Media of the European Union. The purpose of the virtual workshop was to share the mutual visions of Argentina and the EU related to IoT regulations and standards, IoT experiences in Argentina and Europe, and certification processes and requirements for the European market.
