USPTO elevates four IP attachés to counsellors
The US Patent and Trademark Office announced that its intellectual property (IP) attachés in India, Mexico, China, and Belgium (US mission to the European Union) have been elevated to the diplomatic rank of “Counselor” at the U.S. embassies and missions where they serve. The IP attachés and counselors advocate for the benefit of US stakeholders to improve policies, laws, and regulations that protect IP abroad.
